I’m a small-town prairie girl turned Registered Nurse, Yoga Therapist, and Holistic Nurse Coach.
I grew up on a rural family farm in Saskatchewan and graduated high school in a class of just ten. Life moved fast from there—earning my Bachelor of Nursing, writing my national exam, getting married, and becoming a mom, all in the same year. I was following the path I thought I was supposed to…

For 18 years, I worked as an RN in rural acute care and public health. I loved nursing—but over time, I began to feel like I didn’t fully belong in either role. I started to question whether I was truly living with joy, or just moving through life the way I thought I should. Something was missing.

That marked the beginning of a winding journey—one of self-discovery. I started learning how to reconnect with myself, how to honor her, invest in her, and prioritize her in the midst of raising tiny humans, building a career, and working on the farm. I’ve always loved learning, and this chapter became a deep dive into everything from nervous system science to emotional wellness to somatic care. I followed that curiosity wherever it led.

Eventually, I made a bold decision: I stepped away from traditional nursing to focus on yoga therapy and create a space where movement, healing, and community could thrive.
I built Prairie Soul Fitness, teaching fitness classes during hockey practices. That evolved into Prairie Soul Wellness, where I offered yoga therapy, sound healing, and wellness coaching—and eventually into a boutique heated yoga studio in our rural community, all while continuing to farm alongside my family.

But even after resigning from conventional nursing, I felt a quiet nudge: maybe I wasn’t done with nursing after all.
I knew I wasn’t meant to return to the roles I’d known—but after experiencing the power of integrative practices and their impact on my own life, I knew I had found a path that made sense. Years earlier, I had almost enrolled in a holistic nursing and coaching program—but chose yoga therapy instead. This time, I applied again—and the timing was finally right.

It was here that my two worlds finally met. I learned how to bridge science with somatic, integrative healing. How to walk with people through life’s messiness in a way that honors the whole person—body, mind, energy, emotions, and environment.

From this, I created The In-Between Coaching Framework—a trauma-informed, evidence-based approach designed to help people move through uncertainty, overwhelm, and life transitions with clarity and confidence.

Why I do this work? I know what it’s like to feel stuck in the in-between.
To feel overwhelmed, disconnected, dismissed, or like your body is betraying you even when every test says you're “fine.”
I know the fear of sharing your truth—that you’ve been exploring breathwork, sound, or energy work—only to worry you won’t be taken seriously.

I know the feeling of being lost in your own health story, unsure of what’s next or who to turn to.

That’s why I created this space—

What is it I do?

I guide people through life and health transitions—helping them move from stress and uncertainty to clarity and confidence.

As a Registered Nurse, Holistic Nurse, Nurse Coach, Yoga Therapist, Reiki Practitioner, and Sound Healer, I integrate the Nursing Process, evidence-based coaching, and holistic healing practices to support your body, mind, emotions, nervous system, and overall well-being. Whether you're navigating a health diagnosis or life’s overwhelming moments, I offer a space where you feel safe, seen, and supported.

Using movement, breath, coaching, nervous system regulation, trauma sensitive care and holistic nursing care, I help clients shift from stuck to supported, overwhelmed to grounded, and uncertain to clear. My approach blends science, integrative healing, and personalized nursing care to meet you where you are.

I recently signed up for Amanda’s Mom’s Made for More course. Prior to working with Amanda I was feeling a little lost when it comes to being real with myself.
